Now do you want the long version of the story or the short version? If you know me I am going to give you the long version so I hope your sitting down! For those of you who may be out of touch, I have been watching a little boy for almost eight months now. His mom usually drops him off around 6:15am or 6:30am and if you can imagine during that time of hour it is still very dark out. Ok already, I will cut to the chase! So when Hunter's mom dropped him off we saw a snake on the grounds next to our bushes in between Adams room and the front door way. It was hard to see but is all we wanted to do was shut the door as fast as we could. Well, the morning routine went on and a just mentioned to Chad once we woke up that there was a snake outside the house this morning. Now by this time, it was around 9:30 10:00, I had already dropped the kids off at school. He bolted outside like he was Super man or something. and what do you think he found? Yep right over his head. I would of never looked up because I am small but I guess being a tall guy you notice stuff like this. |

Who is more afraid? Who will win the fight? |

Don't worry it is just a rat/garden snake good to have but get to be really big. Not something we want around our house especially with Sarah, Adam and Hunter. Well the kicker to all of this drama is Chad did not want to hurt the snake, he only wanted to save it in a container. He even cut wholes into the container for it to breath in order for him to show Sarah and Adam once they got home from school. Well can you imagine what happened? Yep... as soon as he went to put it into the container it raced away and was gone within seconds. We tried to find it and looked all day long . This snake is really hiding or gone to a new home! Not really sure but don't like the fact that this unwanted creature is still on the prowl! Needles to say Sarah and Adam only got to see the snake by looking at these pictures but were still amazed! |
