January 1, 2011 New Years Day

Day 1
A short recap...  On November 13, 2010 (by the way this was Chad's 35 birthday) we found a house, December 13, 2010 we closed on a house, and on December 14, 2010 we moved into the house.  Then on December 20, 2010 we flew to Ohio and celebrated Christmas with my parents.  We arrived back to the sunshine state on New Years Eve morning.   Now from the picture below you can see Sarah and Adam are loving life in their new back yard.  Although I am not sure if they enjoyed sledding for the first time in Ohio with grandma and grandpa more or the new yard and tee ball set.   What do you think?

To be honest I am not sure who is enjoying the back yard more, Sarah and Adam or Chad and I!  Having a yard is so exciting but what is more exciting,  is watching our two beautiful children playing tee ball together.  (Thanks Grandma Denise and Grandpa Bob, great Christmas gift).  We could not ask for a better New Years day.  The weather is outstanding, the birds are singing and everyone is happy.  As I watch Sarah and Adam carry on, I stop for a moment to reflect on a card I had just received.  It said. "A happy home is a place where love fills every room.... and shines through every window."  Today this statement could not mean more to me!   Thanks Aunt Debbie for the house warming card!

After watching Sarah and Adam play for hours, Chad and I have come to the conclusion that both our children have killer batting skills.  However, Adam has an awesome underhand.  Adam is only two and if you ask his mom and dad, he is ready for the minors or who know.... maybe the REDS!
